TREE PRUNING

There are several reasons for pruning a tree, trees close to people and structures should be pruned to achieve the goals of the property owner.  In many cases, pruning instead of removal can accomplish the same goals as removal while preserving the tree. A client may want to remove:

  • branches that are growing towards power lines or built structures;

  • dead wood that poses a threat; or

  • to increase airflow reducing the likelihood of disease and storm damage.

Pruning a young tree to form a good structure is cost-effective in mitigating future problems and creates healthy, beautiful trees.   Whatever you wish to be done, one of our knowledgeable arborists would be happy to assess the vegetation on your property and help you explore options.
